Another what track bike thread
Discussion
Over the last few years I've been doing more and more track days, they've all mostly been on a 2015 Daytona 675r, however I sold this and bought a 2016 R1, while it's a great bike which i love I want to move back to a 600 and not have the worry of chucking a lot of money down the road.
With a budget of 5k I've been looking at R6's (13s) Zx6r's 09> mainly.
Is there really much difference between GSXRs, R6s, ZX's CBR600rr's and so on? I've only been looking at the R6 and ZX because i like the look of them but if all the above mentioned bikes are pretty similar then that would give me a lot more choice?
Usually towards the front end of intermediates but would like to start progressing once the fear of a crashing a bike i can't really afford to crash has gone.

I started off with a k1 750 running k5 boingers, brakes and headers. Owed me sub 2k and I'd never look back... Was a fantastic bike
I got the hang of track fairly quickly and found it could happily run fast group pace
My humble beginning... First track day on a dedicated track bike that I bought for £1600
