Never post on Bikes - but was in Burnham on Crouch today when we saw a Hells Angel come off his bike at a T junction, not too serious but he was shaken up & waiting for an ambulance when we left - just wondered if anyone on here knows him & if he's ok?
There seemed to be a lot of Bikers there on some very expensive machines - so someone must know him?

Oh for god's sake grow up!! there's no need for bad language & name calling is there?
It was a light hearted comment - about the huge improbability that someone on here would actually 'know' a Hells Angel involved in a 'minor' accident yesterday! with the scant details you provided!
My mate has a Tuscan & lives in England.....
he's called Dave - do you know him?

not... you were taking the piss... if you don't know the guy - don't post - someone on here MAY know him, it's not you, so go read something else & leave off!!
Come on mate, calm down eh? I can see how you could have misconstrued Kitty's comment, but most things on here are said in jest and there's really no need to get worked up about things.
Dave
Safety in numbers... Hey, I can give & take jokes - no problem - but when someone gets hurt, it's no longer funny, the girlfriend is a nurse & was first on the scene to help this guy & calm him down - yes, finding him on PH is a long shot and she wanted to find out but isn't that why people post 'spotted' posts? So not really any need to take the piss & then defend it... maybe you wouldn't see it the same way if it were one of you lying the road hurt... last time I visit the Biker Forum so stick your replies up your exhaust pipe!
If you read your post back again you'll realise how silly you are being - my comment was a 'needle in a haystack' one aimed at YOU - NOT about somebody being hurt - and ANYONE who knows me from here over the last 2 years (if they like my style of writing or NOT) will agree that I've NEVER made a cruel comment about a biker being hurt - so pick yer dummy off the floor & stop being such a crybaby........ and shut the door on your way out will ya

We're not laughing at the fact that someone was hurt - i've been the one lying in the dirt after a runin with a 'cager' - we were just laughing at your post. There was no malice intended i'm sure, but I do think you've got yourself all worked up over not-a-lot here. My girlfriend is a nurse too, and she would probably do the same thing if she were a member here - but she wouldn't throw her teddy if someone commented on the odds of finding someone here who knew the biker in question. There are a million bikes on the road afterall.
Plus, and you wouldn't have known this, there are very few (if any) Angels on this board. We're predominantly fair weather bikers in power ranger outfits
As I say, you wouldn't have known this, so i'm not saying it's an issue - just explaining another reason why it's highly unlikely that someone here knows the poor sod who ended up shiney side down.
I genuinely hope the guy is ok though - far too many bikers lobbing it into the scenery lately.

Excellent, I'm in the minority of the minority, no power rangers suits or Sunday riding here, I make my living (currently) from riding......

Yeah, it was meant as a joke - I wear gore-tex and rode yesterday, by choice, despite the fact that it was absolutely bucketing it down and I had my car sat outside! I enjoyed every minute of it too actually.

Same here, except for those 2 almost highsides ,one due to deisel on the exit of a turn and one due to a manhole cover, feet off the pegs both times and tail end fishtailing like a mad thing, still fun all the same
That's the brilliant thing about riding in the wet though, you can find the limits so much easier and IMO it teaches smoothness and makes you a better dry rider...
PS I did note the smiley, but thought I'd chip in anyway...

I agree completely. It forces you to plan everything and be really smooth. I had a mate on the back at the time and he said he could easily have nodded off. Even my overtakes were nice controlled affairs - rather than the all-too-easy banzai stuff.
I nearly highsided mine a couple of days ago - overtook a mate on cold tyres, as I pulled back in the back stepped right out and whipped about like a mad thing. Feet off pegs, arse in the air, scared the bejesus out of me. The worst thing, was my bike-hating girlfriend was in the car. Luckily she was chatting and didnt see!
I think some people can take the piss too much, the poster asked a genuine question out of concern, ok it got out of hand but give it a rest eh? Yes a lot of things are tongue in cheek on these boards but some people do not know what is and isnt banter amongst PH'ers yet some PH'ers expect everybody to take a joke when it suits them.
If the person concerned was or knew a PH'er i'm sure this thread would have been a little different.

*yawn*
Lighten up - his opening paragraph STATED the bloke was OK ffs! nobody is gonna make a comment when some bloke is fighting for his life in a coma!
I'm sorry but I don't walk round treading on eggshells - If you've got a problem with what I've written then you're gonna have a proper breakdown in the real world! (or even in some of the other forums).
I wasn't rude - I wasn't nasty or spiteful - I took the piss - get over it!!
P.S. This thread went off topic years ago...."give it a rest"????
