Morning chaps.

Now, I don't want a fight about hi-vis/no hi-vis/blah blah, thanks wink

However, I see a lot of those pedal-pushing types in reflective jackets which light up white like they're one massive LED when they get a bit of light on them. Last week I saw someone commuting on a Triumph with a vest thingy made out of the same stuff, but I can't find one on a search, perhaps because I don't know what to search for, and "white lighty-uppy reflective vest" doesn't seem to mean much to the Google gods.

Any ideas where they sell them? Ta.

I've looked for while to see if there is a motorcycle version, but without success.

Some textile suits use the technology in "patches", but I haven't found any that use it wholesale.

Yeah, I've go a few small spots of it on my textile suit, but this guy definitely had a full waistcoat thing on. It had elasticated armholes too so I guess it's less likely to fall off every time you take the jacket off!

You can get a spray that you can use on any clothing to give the same effect.

It's pretty expensive though.

Try looking at Macna clothing - they did a whole jacket out of the stuff so they may well do a waistcoat too

I would imagine this.

I like the product a lot as it is very stealthy in normal light, so you don't feel like a complete nerk!

I did - didn't find the right thing, only a standard yellow hi-vis with a white background. Although there are a few more possible there now thanks.

Ah thanks - I did look at Proviz a little while ago and they only did full jackets which prob wouldn't fit over my bike kit and were hundreds of ££ anyway. That looks pretty good.

Asking for a friend, does it work when applied directly to the body?

Have a look at the range of Urban Glow kit. We use it in my RoSPA group and have just had some gilets & jackets made up in 'ballistic orange' which is much more visible than the normal yellow....

It wasn’t this was it? The sleeves can be removed to make it a waistcoat. I’m sure it’d fit over your jacket if you bought a size or two larger.
