Street triple r value
Discussion
Autotrader seems to say between £5-£5.5k.
The obvious bits about corrosion, but the Street has had a bit of a reputation for chocolate bolts and fasteners, so check that none of them have been rounded off or generally stuffed. Some bikes had regulator/rectifier issues which should have been done on a recall - I think that was an earlier generation but I am not sure. They occasionally have been known to eat head bearings, and are generally a dirty bike - by which I mean that they get covered everywhere in bad weather (rider included) so make sure that the owner has a good cleaning regime!
Having said all that, I had a 2010 model from early 2011 until I chopped it in in 2017 and it never missed a beat, and was immaculate the day I p/exed it.

A friend of mine has got a 2016 Rx with less than 7000 miles on it which is a little newer than you are looking at.
He was offered £6250 from a dealer against a new speed triple. Knowing the condition and the extras he's got on his bike I wouldn't want to pay more than £5k for a 2013 bike.
Doggydog.

A Triumph dealer offered me £6,400 trade in on a 765 RS with 3k miles on it that listed at over £11k with the extras when new 18 months before. He was offered £6250 from a dealer against a new speed triple. I'd have thought low £4k would be about right for OP on a private sale.

Yeah but the trade in value you got for yours is a pisstake surely? I'd have thought low £4k would be about right for OP on a private sale.

Still, 6400 is 50% drop in 18 months, damn robbers!
