Should be picking up a second hand machine this week, not sure it counts like a fresh one, but it's the first big bike so highly excited!

I'm Getting one of the new Royal Enfield Interceptor's.

Had a test ride and it is very nice and easy to ride.
Gear change, best I've ever ridden!

Nothing like the BSA 650 of my youth, much smoother, no vibes at all!

Looks fantastic and the power must be intoxicating.
How is the sitting position compared to the 1300S? It looks very racy to me.
Did you consider the ZZR1400? I would’ve thought a more similar like for like replacement to your BMW.
As I’ve said before, I just can’t trust myself with that much power so if I get a newer bike it will be a big and heavy thing with more chance of keeping my licence.

Nothing “exciting” however it will be nice to have something new.

I’m getting a Honda Rebel on the 1st “born to be mild”

It's a slightly more "sporty" seating position than the K1300S but still very relaxed. I don't think there will be any issues with "big mile" days. It's not such a stretch to the bars as the ZZR1400.

The 1400 is a great bike but compared to the H2 SX, it really feels like an old design, which, of course, it is! While the H2 SX may be down slightly on "grunt" compared to the ZZR1400, it feels better, with a glass smooth linear delivery that will take it from from less than 25mph in top all the way to very silly speeds.

I ordered a 2019 KTM Super Duke 1290 GT, ready for collection 1st March, I hope this beautiful weather keeps going.

Yes, I'm picking up my brand new shiny thing on Saturday morning, 9am.

Except it's a Nissan van...

Does shiny and new to me count?

Pick up two of the three in this picture next Monday.
