BT Sport, Videopass or something else?
Due to cost, house move etc, I've watched the GP on Channel 5 and tried to catch Moto2 and Moto3 on the internet with mixed success.
(Moto3 is probably my main interest).
Have BT phone and Broadband so reduced cost I think but as I don't watch football or anything else on BTSport.
What's the consensus?

Nigerian stream, I have done it for years and it works fine.

All you are doing paying for BT is funding football rights bids, your choice, but I would ever do that.

GP pass is OK but have heard rumours it is very unreliable and commentators are crap

3 months free, then a fiver a month on EE isn't a bad price and you can cancel at the end of the season. Plug yer laptop / PC, run the BT Sport app into the tv and the quality is stunning.

I think it's a fiver a month if you have BT Broadband too, depending on the contract.

I'm happy to pay it as I really enjoy MotoGP. I have / do use stty streaming feeds, but usually for that turd of a procession that is F1.

If you haven't got BT internet or EE they want 27.99 a month for BT sport. They can fk right of just out of principle. Greedy bds.

If it's not on 5 it'll be the first year I've not watched it for years and years but I'll watch superbikes instead.

Aresholes to them.

Honestly man, do'nt do yourself out of it, get ab blocker on chrome and I can send you a couple of links to watch it, the quality is fine, not awesome, and it rarely drops, only does of footy is on and the hosts are inundated with tossers trying to watch footy free.

Have reasons to not want to pay bt any money, ever. Motogp videopass is more stable on a device that uses the dedicated app rather than webpage login, the nospoiler start page is great, they do have a "take it or leave it" attitude though. Dodgy streams are fine if you're not that bothered if and when you get to see it IME.

I take it the full races and qualy sessions are available to watch on both the BT app and the Moto GP video pass if you've missed them live?

yeh, you can set the videopass app to login straight no the nospolier page (or save the webpage) and all qs and races are up after maybe an hour.

I pay BT the £27 a month to watch it on Sky. I also enjoy a bit of footy, so see that as a bonus.

It's superb coverage of the entire event, from practice to podiums. Both me and my boys really enjoy it, so its well worth the £15 per race or so it works out at. Being able to record it all is certainly worthwhile, especially for far away races!

I'm happy to pay for a quality product, which I feel this is.

I think BT sport costs me £10 a month which I think is a bargain.
Race coverage starts Friday morning and I find the commentary excellent.
Watching the toon beat Burnley on Tuesday night live is a bonus.

Moto GP app for me. Does everything well.
Don’t bother with trying to stream it illegally unless you like poor quality viewing.

The BT replays can take a day or so to appear. Not good.

The BT no spoiler page is hit and miss. When they eventually appear, you can still get tripped up with the result from a link / intro. No practice / qually replays usually too. So get the MotoGP app if these are important to you.

BT app and Chromecast, all free as I use a friends login as multiple logins allowed, not sure how many.
Find a friend, family member who are old as all use BT! so off you go smile

As part of our Plusnet package we have BT Sport for £5 a month and can cancel it with no notice smile

Worth every penny for proper coverage - to me

Simply put I am tight.

I resent paying largely for football bidding wars when I could watch it for nothing.

Would use the Dorna site if streams become unusable, or probably buy Kodi and paypal a decent company to make sure it works, a I know loads of guys who do this.

Kodi is free. Getting it working isn't difficult. It is still unreliable and ste quality at the best of times.

As an update: we have BT landline and BT Broadband.
Just called them, to get BT Sport on Sky is £12 and to get it as an App on Smart TV is £9 both per month.

Refuse to pay that to support 22 millionaires kicking a pigs bladder about and having tantrums about a grass stain on their leg!

Now EE state: After your three month free BT Sport subscription has passed you’ll still be able to use the BT Sport app, but it’ll be charged at £5 per month for the app and £10 a month for casting with the data on us. These will both appear on your monthly bill as add-ons.

Not sure if the App refers to a TV app on Smart TV or what casting is but will find out.

With EE and BT (same firm), you pay extra to cast the app, say via Andriod, to your tv, or to run the app on a smart tv.

But you can also run the app from a PC / laptop using a HDMI cable. To the PC, this is just the screen, so no casting is involved, or fee to run the app on a smart tv. So £5 all in this way, after the 3 months free trial and great quality.

It's all a bit of a ball ache smile
