First 125 CC in UK (CBT)

Hi All,

First off all I am newbie to this site, so hello everyone!

I used to ride a 350cc Royal Enfield since I was 18 until 26 (before I came to UK, and haven’t rode since, other than on Holidays to India). Now I am turning 40 in a few months and starting missing my Motorcycle days. So planning to get my CBT ( I have a full clean UK licence for more than 10 years) and buy a 125CC (Probably a KTM Duke 125 or an Yamaha MT125.

Can someone please give me some valid advice on this? I mean the idea of getting a 125cc and the choice of Bikes, like it is safe, reasonable etc?

I live in reading and work in Watford, so I was even thinking of going once a while to work avoiding Motorways as well.

Get whatever you like the look of, and you'll be fine. Just assume every driver is going to do something stupid and ride defensively.
