Anyone on here install them?

Personally I hate having to use the key all the time. But is there an inherent fire risk with aftermarket fuel parts?

Cheap ones off eBay, perhaps.

Decent quality items such as a Lightech quarter depress the button jobby, no issues.

First world problems eh?

Why would there be?

First off, is something cheap and cheerful any more likely to leak than the standard cap?Secondly, where is the ignition source going to come from?

I've got a TWM carbon fibre/aluminium one on my 999R. Saves weight and makes fill-ups that much faster.

Edit: oh yeah, which is nullified by the fact you have to keep track of the lid (OE one hinges) and regarding the key thing you're either taking it out of the ignition anyway when you pay for your fuel or you're driving further to get to a pay-at-the-pump service station....

bought a cheap Chinese one about 10 years ago for my Fireblade, never had one issue... I just regularly lubricated the o-ring. Still has the original one. Never leaked or gave a smell of petrol off it.
