Seeing as BSB starts in 10 days, and they've just had their first UK test today at Silverstone, I'll get my top 6/showdown prediction in now;

1) Josh Brookes
2) Glenn Irwin
3) Tarren Mackenzie
4) Scott Redding
5) Jason O'Halloran
6) Dan Linfoot

I also think Keith Farmer will be fighting for a few wins if that BMW goes as well as it looks, and everyone hopes it does, and Tommy Bridewell will get some wins too

I did hear that the V4R has had a rev limit applied though, as I'm guessing Stuart Higgs wants BSB to remain close racing, and not turn into a WSBK Bautista show

Looks like it's going to be a great season

Ray, Ellison, Brookes, Mackenzie, G Irwin, Redding in no particular order.

I think Brookes will win the title ultimately.

Looking forward to this season. With Shane Byrne out and Leon Haslam & Jake Dixon off to other things it opens up the possibilitiesI really hope it doesn’t turn into a Ducati V4 domination, but if Scott Redding is on form, adjusts to the circuits, and the bike is that good, oh well. I’d like to see Hickman and Mackenzie have really strong seasons.

I'm hoping Ray finds form again. Can see O'Halloran being a serious contender too.

I think Scott is going to dominate - not only at the familiar 'big' tracks like Assen, Slivers and Donners, but also the goat tracks hehe

Remember, he's never off his OHVALE GP bike or Supermotos at spanish kart tracks, so i don't agree that he'll necessary struggle at the likes of Cadwell or Knockhill.

In a weird way I see Brooks walking away with it. However the field is strong and weather plays a big part in the BSB so it's not so clear cut.

Personally I'd like to see Jellison do well this year after a complete stinker last time out.

Redding is an unknown. Not bad in Practice, might do a 'Bradley Ray' as in scintillating first few races then fades and his head goes a bit

Exciting season coming up though me thinks , can't wait.

If the V4 Ducati is competitive in bsb trim with no electronic assistance then Redding will walk it. Can’t see Brooke’s getting the better of him.

I think Taz Mackenzie will be a more regular podium contender, something clicked with him in the second half of last season. I also think jason ohalloran will be up there too on the R1.

Hicky on the new BM is my other one to watch, if they can do as good a job as the wsbk team have done to make that bike handle. Outright power is what it lacks but that’s not such a huge issue on Uk tracks.

I’d forgotten about Bradley Ray. Shows how much he dropped off during last season. He really was something special at the start. Hopefully they can sort out whatever changed and get him back up the front challenging

Didn't Ray lose confidence in his front after a crash or two?

He was almost untouchable at the start of season.

Jason O has been formidable in testing, he would be my bet, has been routinely getting good results on a dog of a Honda, bit like Rea used to.

Merely hope Redding finds out what talent really is in this series, I feel he might not last the season lol! Especially working for Bird

I think Redding will walk it to be honest.

I'm kind of agreeing with the OP, which is boring.

I don't think Redding will walk it. That level of power, no TC and our tight tracks / dodgy weather will be quite a shock.

He will go great at Donny, Silverstone and Assen though.

I don't think Redding will be dominant, but neither did I expect Bautista to smash everyone!

Tracks are a bigger change MotoGP to BSB compared to MotoGP/WSB. Not like Redding has never ridden them though.

Kind of wish Bradley Smith would step into the fray now too.
