Am aware that returns are free, but just wondered what is the process for actually returning? Do you have to buy packaging to put them into or can you just shove them back into the packaging they arrived in? Can you drop them off at post office or click & collect locations?

Have only ever used them to buy smaller items but interested in a new jacket so was hoping to buy a couple and then return the one I don't decide to keep. Would prefer to do this than go and try them on in a shop but not actually buy from them. Obviously if the bike shop pricing is competitive then would prefer to support them, but on most items SBS seem to be best priced.

It states the below but it doesn't state if you have to book it with them an wait for a courier, or if you drop it to the post office, or can take it to ASDA / local shop / petrol station as you can with some returns now.

Also, are all returns free, or only those which have been sent in error or where the item is faulty? As the last sentence states this but not obvious if it applies to all orders or only those that haven't qualified for free delivery.

Yes I am probably overthinking this but I basically don't want to be forking out to return leather jackets as I imagine that won't be cheap.

Returns info from SBS website:
"You can return any item within 365 days and we will gladly replace the item or offer a full refund for it. Furthermore, if your order was over £25, your return will be free (* Mainland UK only, excluding Scottish Highlands). All we ask is that you send the items back unused in their original condition with all the original packaging. Click here to create a return.

If your order doesn't qualify for free returns, or if you should choose to arrange your own delivery, we recommend that you use an insured, recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty."

There is a full returns procedure on the website , you request a return and they send you a returns label e mail .
Have a good look on the website it really is all there .
You take it to drop off points , it tells you where they are

Yep, a return label.
Last year I bought a pair of boots but the width wasn’t right. Returning them was easy.
Talking on the phone was straightforward and a pleasure. A top rating from me.

I bought a jacket from them without paying close enough attention, when it showed up I realised it was a mesh summer one rather than something warm. repacked it the same way as it came and completed the return painlessly using a ups service point

Yep, super easy and free returns process. And I find they process them very quickly.

As above, once you've got your order and decide which bits you do/don't want, login to your account, to say what you want to return and they'll email you a returns label. Print the label and stick it to the original packaging. Postage options vary on the value of the item I think - I returned an item for £15 and it just goes via 48hr Royal Mail, but something I had for £55 went via UPS tracked (still dropped off at post office). I think you do get choice of Collect Plus/Post Office - it's just your choice as to whats closest/easiest.

Hope that helps! smile

They're so easy and friendly to deal with. Just ring them if unsure.

I've spent far too much with them - too easy to buy stuff & too easy to return!!
However, I've only returned a couple of items, as their size guides are usually spot-on....
Can't recommend them highly enough.

Another absolute thumbs up for them. Postage label sent to you and you then just drop off at UPS drop off place. I cannot rate them highly enough!

I have spent thousands with them now, much to my wifes dismay

Thanks all. Have ordered quite a bit from them in the past but never clothing. Sounds super easy to return. Also sounds dangerous as I will probably order a few items with the intention of returning some but want to keep them all!
