I have bought a leather suit as I have a track day booked in, bought online because I saved £150 over the local shop.

I tried on my mates tractech evo2 size UK44 and it wouldn't zip. I got the tractech evo3 in 46 and it fits well on shoulders, chest, legs and arms but there is a lot of slack on the mid rift.

Also I'm 5.9ft at 190lb. Normally a 42-44 in jacket sizes.

I could barely close mine across my chest and stomach (as a slim chap not a fatty), but once on the bike they felt fantastic.
Don't use leathers now as I'm a bit more of a fatty, and it's a billion degrees at home every single day!

How baggy at the waist / mid rift?

Also, why does it look like you are trying to curl one out?

I now understand exactly what bodyshops mean when I call them and they say 'i'd have to see it in person'.

No point being uncomfortable, although race leathers always feel better when actually on the bike.

Some brands just don't fit certain body shapes. If you have to ask they're not perfect.

You can buy from most online retailers with free returns, max out a credit card with a number of brands/sizes, and send the ones that don't fit back.

is there a back protector in there? if not, buy one.

also, if you could post a few more photos, maybe some zoolander style poses, it would help

The real problem happens when you buy leathers and your now committed to being this size for the next 10 years.

It has the back protector that comes with the leathers, pretty much wafer thin foam. They are comfy and all the pads are secure on the parts they need to be, only issue was the stomach area RST expect you to be built like Mr Blobby.

try something like this. You'll never be able to have a big mac again though.

Plenty of shops will adjust them for you, I've used hill4leather.

Brilliant job and not much money.

Arms and legs are slightly too big but nothing to worry about. Front of the suit looks like it’s bunched up which it shouldn’t do. A bigger back protector and/or chest protector would fill it out a bit.

It’s probably 1 size too big or doesn’t fit your body shape quite right. It’s not perfect but it’s not a disaster given that picture. It’ll probably make it a bit easier to live with if you use it on the road.

This seems like a good shout if it becomes an issue. Seeing as the pads are in the right place and fitting well, I will keep it.

And here is where buying from your local shop would have got you the right suit, the first time.

Blahblah, save money etc etc etc. I know, there are certain things I buy online to save money and avoid speaking to people.
