ER6n frame crack :(

Has anyone experienced a frame issue like this? It is a fracture near the side stand, causing it to lean a huge amount more than it should

Taking it to a repair shop tomorrow to see if it can be welded, does anyone have an advice or previous knowledge of this kind of fault?

Do you have a wider photo, I can’t really see where it is on the bike?
Are you sure it’s a part of the frame and not something that can be removed?

If it is part of the frame I’d be looking carefully for further damage and distortion from a crash. Probably around the headstock, check for areas of cracking paint that suggest things have been bent.

I’d also properly clean the area (well the whole thing really) and see if there are more cracks radiating out from the damage you can see now.

A quick eBay check shows frames available. If in doubt buy another one, it’s not worth the risk if you’re not sure what state it’s in.

I actually think provided metal good that could be put back and welded, only looking at one pic obviously.

Wonder if it’s a weak point ? As it looks like tthe fulcrum from side stand caused it?

Maybe lots of being dropped onto stand ?

Someone sitting on it with the bike being propped up on the sidestand?
