Prescription motocross goggle inserts

Hey folks
Has anyone tried them? I'm plagued with a good old case of the blindness, have been strongly considering picking up a Shark Vancore (or Drax if I'm feeling dangerous) & popping one of those universal prescription inserts into the goggles, which, to me seems the absolute perfect solution to the usual steamy glasses problems.
However I have no idea how good these inserts actually are. Is it a good idea to try out, been looking for an excuse to pick up one of those fighter pilot helmets & the enclosed goggles might be it.
