euro trip summer 2019

I'm planning a trip to the other side of Europe over the summer.

I'm thinking first night stop somewhere 2/3 cross of France. Then next day continue to Ancona. Catch a ferry to Patras. Then ride to Athens my final destination. All in 3 days.

I plan to stop at Reims and visit the old GP circuit (whats left of it). Is there anything interesting between Reims and Lyon?
Any suggestions where to spend the first night (around Dijon/Lyon region)?
