I know what the word means, but given it's effectively a synonym of the word "reliable" which the the OP used previously in his description before he went on to capitalise the "H" as if it were a proper noun, I wondered if it meant something else, and I was keen to hear his thoughts so I could better help.
But you f
king carry on.
But you f
king carry on. The 90s/early-00s Honda CB500 (of which I have two) would fit the bill and are EXCELLENT bikes.
Or what about the new Honda CMX500 Rebel?
By 'protected', are you talking about fairings/weather protection or (I'm guessing it's this if you're wanting it for urban use) do you mean durable paint finish etc.?

Yes, but the Honda CB500 (the '94 to '03 model) is better in every way – better engine, better brakes, better electrics, better reliability, better finish, probably better handling. Seriously, if you find a nice one you won't be disappointed. There's a reason why so many couriers use(d) them, more than the Kawasaki ER-5 or the Suzuki GS500. And despite being 20-ish years old and carbed they still do c. 55 mpg (maybe 45 in town...).edit: I see you're in London, so the only thing is they're probably not allowed in the ULEZ by default. If someone gets a NOx emissions test done, or a certificate of conformation from Honda, then they may well be fine, but as it stands they're not. This is something to bear in mind with any pre-Euro3 bike.
