Awkward fast gravel tumble from a lowside - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVthN39ou1o

Last time he crashed at Assen and had a hospital visit (collarbone break) he was back on the Sunday to finish 5th.

He’s not having much look, not sure on the rules but do they have to nominate a rider now for the next race.

I think it's the 2nd race after, he is the rider for Assen, so Sachsenring would be the first race and the next race at Brno Aug 4th would be where they must have a replacement.

Lol watching FP3 Moto2, as SOON as Lowes crashes both Emmett and Huewen are instantly saying "it was not his fault"

The love in for this kid on BT Sport is getting a bit OTT.

He IS a crasher, has been for 4 years now.

Quartararo set a new lap record in FP3 this morning, he's quick and consistently quick. Very impressive, I didn't understand his signing last year but he's proving himself.

Mir pushed Rins out of Q2.

Honda immediately replacing Lorenzo for Sachsenring with test rider Stefan Bradl, home race for him makes sense.

I’m beginning to wonder if we are seeing one of those generational shifts, the way Rins, Quatararo and some of the others are coming on?

Another day when Vale is the slowest Yam and clearly unable to do much, when ALL the others are doing OK.

Never really seen this before when Vale is the guy that can not get it to work.

Do the others all ride one way and Vale rides another? Can't see that too much, but it clearly must be the case.

Or is this finally the sign that he has lost a yard?

I think it is a genuine case of Fabio not having any expectations and just riding the wheels off it, the same as JZ5 did....

Mav and the Doc have expectations which no longer are fulfilled.....

That 93 save tho......

I hope JL heals up quickly and gets the Honda under his control.
I want to see him in the top 5, fighting, would be a shame to lose such a talented MotoGP rider to some lesser series.

In the last years isn't he slower in FP and Q and then better in races? He has the experience and nerves to lean on when it counts.

On the other hand, anyway you look at it, the body is not the same as before (look at my fat ass talking about "body", but nevertheless, 25 and 40 is a big difference which one feels).

Still, VR is competitive and still wants to ride, which is only great. I do not understand people who say he should retire, why?

Sadly, I think JL is yet another flawed spanish genius.....

If things arnt close to 96% he has no speed.

Be surprised if he doesnt get bounced for MM jr....

I would not be surprised either.

Still, why is he "flawed"? He won 3 MotoGP titles and 2 250cc titles, he has proven himself already.

Yes, maybe he is the type of rider that need things set up "just the way", which was proven last season with Ducati. So give him support!!!
If Honda ditches him for next season I think it reflects more on Honda than on JL.

Its not a fault, but, like Hizzy, Biaggi and many others - if he doesnt have the ultimate "feel", then its game over....

Good shout Turn 7

Very much like Kocinski aswell. One of the few front end riders of that generation who could ride around issues was Foggy actually!

Cadalora was the same as Max too. Some guys just need too much and can't quite work out how to get it. Or let's say this, they can't adapt to any other way of riding when it is necessary.

Moto3 wise. Binder needs a slap, constantly taking people out pushing them over the kerbs, someone needs to teach the bumped up lad a lesson as sooner or later he is going to cause a huge accident
