I'm pretty sure Goldwings will, but do new bikes generally have self-cancelling indicators?

BMW’s have done for ages. Don’t think most Japanese stuff does. I’ve certainly never ridden
a Japanese bike with self cancelling indicators.

New triumphs have them.

I can take or leave them myself. It certainly wouldn’t affect my buying decision. The current triumph switchgear isn’t very nice, feels like pushing buttons on a cheap calculator. Don’t know if that kind of pcb goes hand in hand with self cancelling.

My 2014 Triumph Explorer has them, but as my other bikes don’t (all older stuff) then it’s part of my turning routine to switch them off anyway.
I’ve used it occasionally, once to see if it worked and a couple of times i’ve glanced down after things like long motorway slip roads to see they’ve cancelled themselves before I did.

It’s not something I’d search out when looking for a bike anyway.

Harleys have had them fitted as standard for quite a long time now.

My 1989 FZR1000 had them, surprised your 'ace didn't, I think they should be fitted to all bikes as standard personally as I'm forever leaving them on.

That was my first thought as well.

I really don’t see why they fell out of favour as they worked fine on my bike.

My last and current GS both had them, nothing particularly clever though they just turn off after about 200 yards. Nothing related to lean angle or actually turning the bike.
