Fancying a lower powered ride, keeping the ZX9r which I love for fast cheap blasts.
Love the looks of Scambler plus Interceptor and the Caballero 500 getting some great write ups. £7k max spend and more for b road fun, plenty of them up here in Northumberland smile
Any thoughts, especially the Fantic?

I hired a Royal 650 GT Continental for a week, really was a lovely ride. Super smooth and flat torque, comfortable and would handle B road bumps well.
ABS, fuel injection and a 3 year warranty - winner

I am a big Royal Enfield fan (my Bullet 500 is approaching 10,000 miles now), but am resisting a test ride on one of the new 650 twins as I know I will end up walking away with one hehe

I like the look of the Caballero 500 which I saw at Krazy Horse last night, but to be honest know very little about them. I would be a bit worried still about buying Chinese built bikes though, even premium ones. I was working at a Honda dealership in Melbourne last year which was an ex-Benelli dealer and some of the warranty work coming back from the modern Benelli's (also Chinese) was beggers belief! The main one that springs to mind was a batch of 5 bikes coming back with overheating issues, and turned out that the head gaskets hadn't had the water port holes cut out! Also cross threaded spark plugs in brand new bikes etc etc

I'm enjoying my scrambler. Feels light to ride. Enough grunt too. just get some test rides and buy what you like most
