Can someone please tell me what bike this is please.
Discussion
I bought this bike to do up for my son. Unfortunately I made the mistake of buying it with no log book, I know I know bad thing. Anyway it came with registration plate on it. But I have been informed about 5 times it is not a 2012 PULSE XF 125 GY-2B ADRENALINE as the number plate states when I view the MOT history online it says it is the bike above. Others tell me it is def no pulse adrenaline. If anyone knows it would be helpful. Thanks in advance. And I hope I have done it right I am new here

Have you got the chassis number? will be on the headstock
Looks like a hongdou urban dz 125 just going from the plastics etc.
My guess would be you have a bent/nicked bike on false plates

It's a DZ125 - has urban stamped all over the plastics!
However there is little difference between the Pulse GY125, Hongdou Urban dz125, Lexmoto Adrenaline 125 etc. etc. (Lexmoto and Pulse are even the same company importing under several different names via CMD) All are built around the Chinese 156FMI engine and mislabelling of these chinese 50 and 125 bikes/scooters is fairly common. However I wouldn't rule out it being a stolen bike on dodgy plates as that is sadly fairly common too.
Looking at things like the cheaper and straighter exhaust (pulse one is slightly higher quality and curved), smaller headlight (pulse one is slightly taller), and shape of plastics (what is left of them - pulse ones are flatter with no slashes) - I'm almost certain its a DZ125 or a 'cobble together'.
I really hope you didn't pay more than £300 for it either as the condition is proper s
te looking through your pictures (sorry!)
Check the chassis/headstock numbers and go from there, but sadly, I think it's highly likely you've bought a nicked/shonky bike.

It's a Sumoto GY 125, an extremely cheap (like £500 for a crated one), notoriously poor quality Chinese bike sold in the mid 2000s and almost non-existent now. Also badged as Hongdou, Zongshen and Sukida (possibly others) with the same or similar model name.
You may have the dubious honour of owning a stolen one given the incorrect plate fitted.
Absolutely not worth restoring, even if you can find parts for it. If you can get it running it might be a fun field bike, but for the road start with something you can actually buy parts for. Preferably something Japanese.

Hi Thanks everyone. It did come with another bike a Sinnis Apache 125. I got the 2 for £200. The guy seemed fair enough and not the sort to steal anything lol. He said he got them both and it came with the plate in a box with some other bits and bobs but he said he is not sure which bike the plate belongs to. I think I will just break them. Or maybe sell the other one that is running like you say for field use only.
I do have a frame number for the one with the plate on which is - LHJYCJLA160612416. But the 3rd digit to last is hard to make out so it could be a 6 or 8 either.
I was thinking it is just some cheap Chinese make myself as I have looked at Pulse bikes and there is a lot of difference between them.
Reg Number is GX62 EVT if this helps.
Also posted pick of the Sinnis I got with it as well.
Thanks everyone appreciated.

I think you are all spot on. Just been looking at Urban DZ125 and Sumoto GY 125 they are identical. So the plate I think def does not go with that bike. This is the frame number for the Sinnis which I am guessing in a Sinnis Apache. LAELY2462C8040208 so I should assume the plate does not go with that either. The guy did have another bike there but it was just the frame and engine so maybe the plate went with that originally.
I just checked the Vin again and it is as follows. LHJYCJLA160612446
Sorry I don't know how to check things by Vin Number.

Looks like you may have bought a bunch of cobbled together chinese chops - again, fairly common with these cheap mass produced under different labelled chinese jobbies - not knocking them as *some* aren't too bad and are a cheap way for getting people onto two wheels providing they know they are buying an item that is either dispoable or has minimal resale value.
Still, I'm not convinced the chap who sold them to you was entirely above board!
If it were me I'd get rid of everything as a bulk sale on ebay and let someone else do the chopping as the effort to break and sell parts isn't going to be worth the minimal return since parts for these bikes are so cheap anyhow.
Hope that helps
