Shakey seems to have a nice little deal with Eurosport and I keep seeing the "Happy Family" posts on FB so I really can't see him riding in BSB again. But as they say in motorsport, never say never...

Really pleased for Redding. Seems he's finally found a bike that does his ability justice. Loverly fella too.

Be nice to bag a BSB trophy on his way through too.

He comes across very well. Especially enjoyed the interviews he's done with 44 Teeth

He fell out in a fairly large fashion with PBM, so if he does come back, it certainly won't be on their team
Be good to see him back though, but he'd want to be on a Ducati as that's the bike to have, so that only leaves the Oxford racing team with Bridewell

Is the S1000RR not likely to be a strong rival for the V4R next year? I'm assuming it will have a full SBK spec engine.

What was the PBM/Shakey fall out over?

Very pleased for Redding too, hope he's finally gotten his head together and some decent management (and listening to them).

Great move to BSB after MotoGP despite what many said, he's worked hard and done well.

Shakey ain't coming back, medical advice, no riding this year, his huge off was a real wake up call and he has a great family life and work / life balance, isn't young and has NOTHING to prove, I'm a huge fan and think he has handles the last 12 months with proper dignity and with no damage to his personal brand.

Redding to WSB was a no brainer, he is far too big a talent / character / brand for BSB and regardless of whether he wins the title this year or not, although I hope he does, he really should be on a world stage.

he has well and truly got under Brookes skin lol ... https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/news-and-vie...

Pleased for Redding, nice guy, worked hard and to be where he is especially on unknown tracks is special. Brookes? Get a grip.

I'm sure Andrew Irwin will still find a way to punt him off the track even if they're in different championships/countries...laughlaughlaugh

Oh...right.

Hmm I take that as (taken at face value) he don't have beef with Scott or he's got under his skin, simply he is acting like a bit of a bellend. After his bust-up with Andy Irwin, that's the impression I get too. We all know they are focused racers on the edge, arguably Andy Irwin lost out more from the crash anyway but it seemed a MASSIVE over reaction. Also be may be talented but he needs to win something or he'll be in my eyes (not good enough for motoGP or good enough to be BSB champion. Could also make arguments about being on best bike etc but won't as that's applicable to Brookes.

Interesting times ahead though. Best of luck to them.

Would I take the money or would I ride a competitive bike?

That depends on whether I really do not give a rats ass about competitive racing...unless Honda really brings a competitive bike for next season.

imho
