Cbr600f2 vs cbr929 riding postion
Discussion
Currently my cbr600f2 is all the bike I need, but I have been offered a 929 fireblade
I had a zx7r which was very uncomfortable so I sold it
I find the cbr600 very comfy and at 51 am not quit so flexy as before
Has anybody had both? Is the fireblade much more racy mainly its handlebar height and width if find the problem
Any thogthts or advice?

Riding the Fireblade is the only way you'll know for sure, but https://cycle-ergo.com/ may enable you to compare the two.
I can compare between my CBR954RR and my CBR600F4i. Both 2002 models.
600 is more comfortable, because of clipons above triple clamp.
954 is more “sporty” because of lower clipons. Still it is very comfortable as well, longer trips no problem. Steering angle is tiny though.
954 accelerates more vehemently, of course. It also steers faster, feels much lighter and shorter from the seat than F4i. Like a little pocket rocket. But quickly gets hot around knees, unlike 600.

The tank is shorter on the 954 than the 929 hence less stretch to the bars, so to me the 954 is comfier. Both clipons are not extreme though which makes them both relatively comfy. I struggle with the 929 though as at 6ft 4 I can't get my knees underneath the crease in the tank. Same for the Aprilia RSV Mille, huge bike but knees don't fit..600 is more comfortable, because of clipons above triple clamp.

I think the insurance Co have scuppered it, £700 for insurance and I'm 51!!!
Give Footman James a try. You can insure it as a classicI have my 929, R1 and Blackbird with them, combined with my cars. The bikes are pennies to cover. For example the blackbird only added £6 (+£25 admin) when I got that.
