I've cleaned my bike twice since getting it in march, same with the last one it got washed twice in the year I had it, there's no point I find, the day after cleaning it its covered in flies again, the back wheel is covered in ste off the chain and its filthy from riding in the rain, so I'll not bother until I put it away for winter now.

Depends

I ride my BMW GSA more than it ever gets washed, but my Husqvarna FE350 seems to be continuously covered in soap suds in an effort to keep it white.

In 9000 miles and 12 months I think I've washed it twice.

My RSV4 is pristine, I use vulcanet wipes on it after every ride once it has cooled a bit and it is under a cover in my garage.

I haven't cleaned my Ducati since I bought it in April. It has seen a few raindrops too, though nothing much.

I always give my bike a wipe over with vulcanet after most rides....maybe every few rides in summer if it doesnt get bug splattered. I dont ride in the wet intentionally so it rarely gets that filthy it requires a real wet wash. 29k miles on one bike and 12k miles on the other.

My R1 is pristine, under all the dirt. When I wash it it comes up like new, I just don’t wash it very often.

Brand new bike rocked up a week ago. Just gone past 500 miles including some rain and still not cleaned it. It’s due for it’s first service in a few weeks, hopefully they’ll give a wipe over.

Glad it's not just me. When I first got back into road bikes in 2015 I cleaned my mv more... I guess, as in I'd spend a bit of time on them poxy spoked wheels

My Aprilias I've had and track bikes though I just give a quick squirt of that waterless wax stuff and get them looking clean to the eye

I certainly don't spend a great amount of time on them. In the 6200 miles I've done in the last 6 months I've cleaned mine maybe 4-5 times

With spray on wax and water less wash it takes about 10 minutes, so I do it before almost every ride. I do a big clean with fairings off twice a year.

All part of the joy of owning a bike for me. If I cant get out and ride it then I'll be in the garage fettling it.

I clean my S1000R every few weeks or so, it’s often dirty as it gets used everyday and I don’t worry about it too much. Although I do really like the bike and get a lot of pleasure from it, it’s main purpose is a means of transport.

I don't wash stuff any more, I really cant be arsed, I used to spend more time washing st than using it, my life disappeared in a blur of OCD, I am happy with dirty stuff as long as I no underneath the st is still a nice bike .
