Half way through the race and no thread yet!

That KTM under Espargaro seems to have a bit of grunt. Too bad for those people stuck behind it under braking and through the corners!

I was out enjoying Indian summer but came back for MotoGP race. I should have stayed out.
Watching motogp race these days is waste of time. No excitement, very predictable.
Championship is decided.
There may be a little bit of excitement, like 1-2 minutes per race, but these one can see later on re-run on YouTube, no point wasting an hour watching one, max two riders way in the front lapping the circuit saving tires for the last lap or whatnot.

The Moto3 is always worthwhile, haven't bothered with Moto2 for ages. It rarely produces a decent race.

The lack of interest in the big class is due to the predictability - it's getting like the Schumacher years in Formula One. Occasionally Marc will not win, but even when he doesn't he will likely still finish on the podium.

I still watch it but at this point we all know who will win the title. Next year is unlikely to be different unless Ducati or Yamaha solve the respective fundamental weaknesses in their motorcycles. The Suzuki is probably better all round than the others, but who knows which Alex Rins will turn up? Marc has more talent than the rest, much more, so everyone else needs a far better bike to beat him.

There's also quite a few riders who don't really deserve their seats - Petrucci, Vinales, Miller, through being too inconsistent. Rossi really should retire. I'd like to see Nakagami on the latest Honda - he may get that chance when Cal retired, Jorge gets the boot and Repsol Honda is the Marquez brothers

Yet Rossi saved MotoGP by being equally dominant. I know he put on a show after the race that people loved, but it seems a bit weird to call it boring now, but not previously. I didn’t think much of the race until the last lap when Marquez went for it and Quartararo fought back, but other than that it was pretty dull.

Technically though Marquez has just shown what a great rider he is. The four bikes behind him were all Yamahas and the next Honda was nowhere.

Never ceases to amaze me how people can find a bunch of highly skilled blokes wringing the necks of 260bhp motorbikes 'dull'.

Marquez in a practice session on his own is a sight to behold!

MotoGP is fantastic at the moment.

If you like to sit and watch the paint dry, you like a contemporary MotoGP race.

Moto3 is WAY more exciting than the 1-man (albeit very talented) show that is MotoGP. 30 seconds of excitement per race is more than dull, it is waste of time.

I recorded it all and watched last night after enjoying the sunshine:
Moto 3, Agree, probably the best racing. great to see Mcphee build a race like that.
Moto 2, Enjoyed, bit of controversy and Lowe stayed on and scored points!
Moto GP, Good technical race, the riding is amazing and Marquez pulled a blinder.
Moto- E, Should be rubbish, I loved it (both races). Watching those Elephants lump round and boy when they let go they stay gone, big time. Very different riding style required.. The future is coming when they can halve the weight!!

Agreed on all points. It was obvious what Marc was doing, and my nerves were going mad on that last lap. So close...

MotoE is surprisingly good...

What about the previous 2 races where it didn't all go marquez way ?

I think quattararo needs start getting tough with marquez , at present marquez thinks he can throw his weight around somebody needs to be senna and let him know if he plays rough they will to, even if they both end up in the gravel.

Somebody needs to plant the seed of doubt in marquez's head that if i rough this guy up he's going to take me out .

3 different winners on 3 different bikes in the last 3 races.

A bit spread out apart from the leaders, but riding 300bhp bikes at the limit can't be boring.

^^ This, if you find tactical racing & extreme talent boring then so be it. It's not as though the Honda is the best package either

That’s what Rins did last time out. Didn’t seem to affect Marquez in this race though.

Rins was nowhere near him this time so no threat .

I think you’ve missed the point. You said someone needed to rough him up and plant a seed of doubt. Rins roughed him up last time out. No seeds of doubt were evident this week.

He won't change now, he was the same in the lower classes.

Jorge, Vale and Dovi have all tried that and it hasn't worked. Until someone really does a Senna on him and rams him that won't charge.
