You know the kind,2004 superbike,photographed in the U.S,item say in London,buy it now £3000?90% off us know its probably some sort of scam but has anyone ever actually went to see one of these bikes,with cash,and its turned out ok!

Don't do that! You turn up with cash and they belt you on the bonce!
Of course it's a scam if the price is less than a dealer would give them for it!
Don't fall for the oversized cheque if they are buying either. Oldest one in the book!

Generally, the ad says payment of a deposit within so many days, by western union. That is the last you'll see of your money and you have zero comeback.

I wasn't thinking of it,was just wondering if anyone had ever tried and ended up getting a stonking deal.Maybe turning up with someone bigger than the person there to skelp you! :-)

I sold a minter classic RD250F on Ebay. About 20 people were after it and i was sad to see it go.
