Marquez had a big crash in FP1, complaining of back and leg pain after being taken to medical centre and hospital. https://www.autosport.com/motogp/news/146377/marqu...

I think he will be on the bike for the rest of the weekend. It'd take nothing short of the apocalypse to keep him off it I reckon.

I hope he's ok and everything, I don't think it hurts his championship if he sits this one out.

It probably doesn't but he's got a chance to take the title on Sunday, so I think he'll go for it no matter what.

I know airbag suits have advanced a lot in recent years but he really must made of rubber to never get hurt when he stacks it! Very lucky to walk away from that.

Claim was a cold tyre, all I know is it was a biggy!

If that was Pedrosa he'd have 2 busted collarbones now, his ankle took a beating surprised he doesn't have a fracture there but some stiff drugs and he's back on it.

Honda need to sort the bike though look at the other 3 Honda riders, nowhere to be seen.

Have to agree with the post above. Crutchlow and Nakagami are no mugs and are absolutely nowhere. (Obviously Jorge is no mug but he's evidently not fit). You wonder how much feedback HRC listen to, or they just build a bike and tell the riders to get on with it.

You have to worry about Marc, the older you get the less well you bounce. Nobody wants to see riders get hurt and he seems to have at least one off a weekend. Few are as big as that effort though, he excelled himself there!

I think this could be Dovi's weekend though. The circuit rewards smart racecraft and a lot of track rewards his 'park the bus' midcorner strategy the Desmosedici forces him to adopt

The interesting thing as VR changing chief engineer again.....Lots of folks saying Albusera wasnt looking forward to even more races away from home, so it made sense to let hom run the test team.

Whether the VR46 Moto2 guy, David Munoz can help VR find form again who knows. Yam have invested into the game again with yet another Marelli guy joingin the team, so lets hope it comes togther for next year.

I tend to agree with this although as this season has proven write Marc off at your peril.

Nice to see Aleix going well, hopefully a good points haul for him and Aprillia this weekend. Glad Pol is back on the bike, but by fk I'm hoping KTM don't get higher than 15th this weekend. curse

As Mr Dendrite says, to get back on and set fast laps in the next practice after that, he's not human.

Hasn't marquez only got to finish 1 place in front of dovi to win the title ?
