Pol Espargaro had the closest near high-side crash at the last corner and still at the time set the fastest time, just pipped by Rins at the end of Q1. Esp was sideways through the left and then pointing right away from the corner.

Tell you what , Pol has earned his wage today .

A crash in every session trying to extract more than that piece of crap ktm wants to give.

If you haven't seen it, here it is while it's still up - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbNQetQ7i88

Never stops just gets right back on it to finish the lap. Might not look as bad as some but they usually crash he just kept the throttle on. Looks best from behind to see how close it was.

If you’re recording on bt sport check that you actually are as they seem to have swapped fp3, qualifying and the races to bt sports one instead of bt sports 2. My box never recorded fp 3 or qualifying which I was just about to catch up on 🙁👎

I switched off after MotoGP qualifying, shouldn't have, Jake Dixon had a great dry qualifying on the not very competitive customer KTM.

Qualified 2nd in Q1 to get through to Q2, lines up 17th for the race. The only KTMs ahead of him are the factory spec bikes of Binder and Martin. He was just 0.6s off pole and just 0.2s behind Lowes

Binder in the end just 3 points behind Mini-Marquez in the championship. Amazing really.

Zarco/Lecuona was nasty. Lucky to get away with that one.

Horrendous for Zarco, probably did help in a way he never saw it coming.

Glad to see he’s ok though.

And now the talk is of Mini Marquez joining big bro at Repsol Honda in place of Lorenzo.

fk me marquez has no class does he .

Lorenzos last race and rather than just do the cool down lap marquez is out with his 8ball as if he's won the title today , ffs just give lorenzo his final bit of limelight .

Quatarraro really looking forward to when you start roughing up marquez , again marquez gets down the inside and pushes quat. out onto the paint , just lean back into marquez .

Zarco - nasty crash , be interesting to see what happens next because his 3 race opportunity hasn't really worked out .

Moto3 was carnage, cracking race when they finally (sort of) settled down.
Binder was awesome in Moto2, great ride from Luthi.
Stunning year from MM93, Quatararo has really surprised me this year, let's hope he can carry it on next year. Jackass has matured a lot, been unfortunate a couple of times this year, really deserves that factory seat more than Petrux, regardless of Mugello; won't get it though.
Rins and Dovi "could do better" although both had some great races this year; Vinales is becoming very mercurial, need to sort that somehow.
Espargaro bros deserve better machinery, especially Pol.
Rossi needs a few good results right from the off.
Who would want to be Puig? Not a good showing from Zarco overall, AM73 too prone to clumsy mistakes; I guess Repsol will enjoy the marketing opportunity of "Marquez Bros Racing", seems a sensible choice. Hohum.

Not as good a season as last year but I enjoyed it overall. I'm often left a bit underwhelmed with Valencia and no change this year. Looking forward to (hopefully) visiting Misano next year. smile

^^^^ agree on all points. MM93 didn't even mention JL99 in post race interview either.
