First time poster long time lurker here.
Passed my mod1 & mod2 last week so was able to pick up my new bike yesterday after it sitting in Blackpool honda's showroom for over a month whilst trying to fit my training in around work.
I know the NC750 isn't everyone's cup of tea but it's perfect for what I need it for, getting to work & the odd day out when the weather turns plus Honda gave me £650 towards getting a full license so I thought why not.
This is the only photo I have because it was raining all the way home

Congratz on the pass and the bike! biggrin
Consider some advanced training now that you are free to roam the streets (BikeSafe, RoSPA, IAM)

I got a NC750X couple of months ago too, it's not the fastest thing, but it does what it is supposed to do so brilliantly well.
I'm loving the DCT also. Has made my London commutes a lot more relaxed and cheaper!
Planning some touring for next year already smile

Enjoy!

Well done on managing the test and purchase of a very desirable bike.

I'll watch out , as I still ride all year round in the Fylde area. At the moment I'm wobbling around on a black tatty NT700,, give me a wave. byebye

Thanks
I didn't mention in my original post that I have been riding a 125 scooter for the past 6 years so I'm not a complete newbie but this is a whole new level.
I've sent an email to my local bike safe division to put me on the list for when they start up again next year, also my training school that I did my license with are advanced rider trainers so I can go back to them.
I bought the bike from Blackpool but I'm from Manchester but I will be back there soon for the 600 mile service

Nice one biggrin

It will be a lot cheaper to join RoSPA (specially) or IAM than paying your bike school for the extra training.
The extra advantages also that these groups hold annual trips, track days, slow riding training, classroom based training etc.

Just my thoughts btw!
Whatever you decide will only be a possitive thing thumbup

I learned to ride on a Honda, but had to take the test on a er6n, I much preferred the NC over the er6n.

Well done on the pass
