CDW Insurance Cover

Hi all,

Week long motorbike hire coming up in Tasmania. Any suggestions on how to protect myself from potential insurance excess? I always take out CDW protection when I hire cars but can't find anything for bikes.

Probably best speaking to the company you are hiring the bike from, they will be better placed to answer.

Yeah, I can pay something like 100 quid to reduce the excess. But it'll still be there. I usually get a third party one when hiring cars for peace of mind.
