How do,
New to 748 ownership and have to say i didnt think id find much difference between it and my last bike (gixer 600 SRAD). Love it, so much easier to ride fast!

Only problem is the oil pressure light comes on at low revs when its warm and i have a leak. Noticed it the other day when i got of the thing only to find the back wheel covered in oil! Never good!

Quick inspection shows the leak from what i think is the oil pressure sensor. Will post a photo but its next to the oil filler towards the back of the bike.

Its a lerg metal nut with a plastic housing on top that clips to an electricle cable. The leaks coming from between the not and plastic housing.

So, what is it? Where can i get a new one and how much?

Oil pressure sensor cap has blown. New sensor is £7.90 from Ducati London South and takes 5 minutes to replace. NIce easy one that.

PS. Need a Ducati Performance Paddock Stand?? I need to get rid of mine.

Cheers guys.

Didint think it was much and probably could have took it back to the garage to get it done under warranty. Think it'll be far more convenient to do it meself.

Do any of you have the neutral light pop on randomly as you change gears? Im sure its just typical Ducati Gremlins (used to crap like this as i own an old TVR too) but thought id ask just in case its a sign of something about to go pop?

I see you are a man of many words Craig.

Was i being a bit over suspicious of the bike?

Remove the neutral switch at the back of the gearbox and give it a good clean up.
