Don't buy one until you've tried a Kawasaki ZZR1200. Just as comfy, handles better, rortier engine and...far, far less money.

I've got a Blackbird.

It's ace!

Very fast, superb build quality, looks brilliant and beat the new Triumph Sprint ST in this month's Ride magazine.

I wouldn't swap it for anything!

I know that Honda have a good reputation for build quality and handling, and the Blackbirds look supreb, especially in black.

Can't find a new zzr1200, have they been discontinued as they are not shown on the Kawasaki web site anymore only the zzr600 is shown.

The Blackbird has a better quality finish than the ZZR though - and looks MUCH better IMHO.
Its a blindingly good comfy bike and if it has a fault its that it goes very VERY fast too easily...

I wouldn't argue that the Blackbird is better finished and better looking. The Blackbird is an excellent motorcycle. The ZZR, to me, is far more fun to ride though.

You ought to be able to find a new ZZR, there are still a fair few around and they are being heavily discounted.

Just been down the same route as you. Did a lot of searching and tried a few blackbirds as well as ZZR1200's Both are fantastic but the ZZR's are cheaper. I got a 2 year old one with just under 2500 miles (literally As New).

You'd be happy with either! After you let your head narrow it down to a few examples let your heart decide! Then have fun!
