Anyone able to confirm whether it's worth the trip?

Watched it or competed in it?

If watching it, well it depends how much you like Japan! There's plenty of closer Endurance races, with far better "access" to punters etc, easier to get to, easier to get about easier to order some food and not end up with something that shouldn't even exist on the earth, never mind end up on a plate in front of you.

But is it highly prized in Japan, so competing it in it is a big thing.

I remember Performance Bikes always used to give it some coverage. Looked kind of exotic and I've had a hankering ever since.
