Spotted: 2x BMW tourers with matching gear...A34

Not a biker so can't elaborate any more than I spotted 2x new looking BMW large touring style bikes that were very dirty, both riders wearing matching tan gear and bikes looked well equipped.

A34 around 0930 today.

I really want to believe it was Ewan McGreggor and Charley Boorman filming round 3.....but perhaps this is more common than I would expect in the biking world.

They have just finished filming round 3, except no BMWs in sight, they did it on Harley Davidson Live Wires. Will be interesting to watch once it is released, particularly considering the range issue you would expect. They rode from bottom to top of South America

The local IAM group look like that, i will see 8 bikes parked at the cafe, and 6 out of 8 will be the same model of BMW and half will have same/similar gear on....its just easy I guess to buy the gear for the bike when its hung up next to it in the showroom......

Yeah could well be but main thing that threw me off was that they were properly filthy brand new (looking) bikes. Very well used!
