I genuinely wouldn't have an issues seeing these guys have their throats cut, not only are they stealing but why are they damaging the cars at the same time, they are the lowest of low and it's about time the law got tough on them.

The scum who buy the parts are just as bad - must be a pretty big market for this stuff....

I’m probably guilty of that.

My track budget is pretty tight (even more so after I lost my two bikes earlier this year) so I buy mostly secondhand. I try to stick to stuff from private sellers but some stuff has come from breakers on eBay, I stick to the one that look most genuine but I can’t be sure.

Looks like they are threatening either the home owner or neighbour, you can see them pointing and I assume shouting at someone to their left

I can see a possible security repellent idea for garage protection, spraying down from nozzles hidden in the roof onto anyone within 5ft of the door. Paint, cats piss, antifreeze, Hydrogen peroxide or Hydrochloric acid the options are endless and would be all yours.

I love that idea and it would be very easy to make something remote up, but you’d end up getting seriously done for that.
I caught some guys ripping my garage door off again weeks after I lost my bikes, I was in my car with a clean run at them and the temptation was strong but the thought of having a record isn’t worth it.

Probably feral? But making them infertile after they are caught maybe an idea?

I'm sure I've got some bolt croppers lying around.

I am for physical punishment, 18-century style, like birching, then off to public works somewhere for a year.
That's for second time offenders.
I would be a bit less strict with first time offenders (depending on circumstances) and much more strict with third time offenders.

I'd love them to try and do that to mine. They'd spend ages ripping the garage door off only to find a solid block wall behind it! (Assuming they didn't jump my gate and see the side door which is how I got my bike in and out)

How about vetting fired out to wrap around them that would be a humane capture with no wrist slapping from the law? Certainly better than what I had originally thought of typing, asbestos powder blown in their faces or HIV infected blood which could easily be defended against by wearing a balaclava. Oh and it being naughty.
