I'd like to see him call it a day but if he still has the fire and the fitness.

I personally think it’s great that he’s back again but I honestly can’t see him being competitive now. Hickman and Harrison seem to be in a different league in my eyes. The mental b#stards that they are!

I wouldn't be too quick to write him off, he has so much experience that a result is always on the cards if the stars align, I don't think he has anything to prove though, and I can't help thinking 'who's next?" when I watch the TT (and I'm a massive fan).

You’re probably right to be fair. Anything can happen in racing! I’d love it if he proved me wrong.

He 100% has nothing to prove, the man is a legend.

Big fan of McPint and would hate to see anything bad happen to him or any roads rider.

Very interested to see how well he goes, the bike and team have the pedigree, although only a fool would look past Hicky or Deano at the TT currently.

MD , on the right day, can mix it with the above, but I dont know.

Id love to see JM win a final big TT and then retire, but Im not sure either of those will happen.....

Sums it up perfectly me but we can all dream of McPint getting one more win in a Senior TT.

Don't think John has had a really competitive mount on the Island since before the awful time on that new Honda that buggered him up, so I would not write him off yet, that bike will be quick.
