What's This - Steering Lock ?

Looking at a recorded bike - what's this ?





I presume it's a damaged steering lock, the bolts have had slots cut into them but I can't understand what's broken / damaged.

I presume it should be bolted to the other two bolts ?

There should be a plastic trim surrounding the ignition which is missing.

The two screws are just what hold the mounting part for the plastic trim.

Not much to worry about there, then.

It just pops on and off, easy to fit a new one.
