Not a shock, especially when you look at the new rider lineup for 21, both riders ride a similar way and Fabio it seems is about as Jorge like as anyone, so they need to focus their development one way or the other and Jorge will do that, as Dani has done in a different way at KTM brilliantly, and Stoner did rather less well elsewhere!

Failing that wildcards this year and then onto Petronas for the 21 season?

I think the decision was left too late with no competitive rides available so he "retired".

See him racing at Catalunya as a wild card entry on the 7th June.
