DXR Hinckley or other casual looking boots

Anyone got a pair? Would you recommend them? Are they waterproof as they claim to be?

Am after some boots that I can wear on the commute and keep on all day in the office / town / pub etc, without them looking like biking boots. (Currently have RST Paragon 2 WP and Alpinestar Faster 2 short boots)

Can’t help with those specifically, but I have the TCX hero (better brand perhaps? I’m not familiar with DXR)
Very similar style.
I only have the ‘waterproof’ ones, not the more expensive goretex ones and they are indeed waterproof. Top marks. Even sometimes wear them as regular boots off the bike, not quite as comfy as my 5 year daily-worn timberland Chelsea boots (which are like slippers), but not far off...

Nope, not tried that brand, have been wearing some Alpinestars boots for a couple of years now that have proven waterproof, warm and comfy like trainers whilst having good protection. A bit higher too, had some ankle boots before and prefer higher, bit more expensive but some of the best boots ive had.
