I think Redding has a great chance this year as does Toprak. Baz is my outside tip.

I think it will be similar to last year, The Duke quick with scott at tracks he knows well, Rea will be near, then on some of the new tracks later, Rea will have the advantage. I like to think Scott wont fall apart like a cheap watch as Bautista did last year.

Impressed by Haslam tbh on the new bike. He's a big lad vs bautista and showing him the way round.

Cracking race 1, good to see plenty of riders up front rather than JR just walking away with it.
Let's hope the rest of the season carries on this way!

Great race. The podium is a bit weird with Toprack disappearing when the champers opens, then coming back!! He looked a bit down about it all.
Good ride by Lowes. I bet he enjoyed sticking one over VDM on the line!!

Scott looked good too.

I do have doubts how the season will pan out though. Pirelli based around North Italy, Ducati too and aren't some other teams too? (Belgarde used to be I think).
There's going to be some disruption, I am sure.

Great first race, good to see so many bikes and riders looking quick. Shaping up to be a fantastic season. Toprak and Lowes looking quick, Redding too. Rea would have been there and Sykes had his tyre not gone off so badly
Poor performance from Davies though, surely they should have given his seat to someone else this year.
This may be the must watch race series this year.

Gutted for JR, was a harsh late move by Sykes which is sure to reignite their hatred of each other. Was a great battle though, glad racing is back on the telly.

I always really annoys me that they don't have a camera with a better view of the finish line at PI.

If the finish line had been another 20 yards up the track I think he would have !!

I enjoyed that race. Sykes did his usual trick of being fast for the first 10/12 laps then disappears backwards. Toprak looking very strong, vdm too. Lowes looks good on the Kawasaki.
Redding looking very good though he could do with sorting his starts out.

Davies is a massive disappointment again, I like the guy and used to know him personally but I think he’s going to be looking for a new job in a few months time.

I didn’t see too much wrong with the Sykes/Rea incident. Just a racing incident and definitely no worse than what Rea did to caricasulo while trying to charge back through the pack.

The Honda will be worth watching once they get a few races under their belt. Bautista did better than I expected too! Roll on race 2

I have to say this is the first year in ages I have been excited at the start of SBK. The new Honda, Redding in there, shame camier is unfit I think he would be quick on that Duke.

Topcat follows Islam hence the disappearing during the champers. He didn't do any spraying when he won at Magny Cours last season :-)

Oh, I know why it is, but it is a bit weird! Could they not give him a bottle of Fanta?

Why , it's not that big a deal not spraying the champagne is it .

If he wanted to stop the others doing so or didn't want the totty on the podium that would be a issue .

Great 10 lapper earlier .

No but it's just a bit odd just having two guys up there doing it as he legs it around the back to hide, only to come back for the photos!

Great racing from PI for the Superbikes, the SSP was a bit disjointed. IS the pitstop thing ust for PI or all tracks? Three different winners from three races, great for Lowes too.

Also, grid walk guy touched on some "bad news for the Rea family overnight" before race 2. Anyone know what that is?
