Has anyone done this and is it still available?

I've got the urge to right the wrongs of yoof and do things legally this time around

yes and yes.

depneding on where you are its usualy 2-3 days training 4th day test. £500 -£800

dont forget also 1 day for CBT and you have to take your hazard perception and theorie tests as well.

£75 cbt ish and around £30 for other tests.

+ gear and bike of course

Yes and yes! Did it about 6 years ago by doing the the initial riding-round-cones-on-a-school-playground bit on a Sunday followed by 4 consecutive afternoon lessons and then my test on the Friday, which I passed. Cost me about £300 back then.

I'm certain DAS is still available and if you've ridden bikes before (which it sounds as though you have) then it's definitely the way to go!
