I'll be fuming if Cadwell is cancelled. I have weekend tickets booked for that already.

On another note. Croft citcuit has closed till end of April.

Not surprised.

Ive got Silverstone BSB and MotoGP tix, and also was extremely close to (but didnt) booking Catalunya gp as well.....

Ive pretty much written this year off for most things now.....

Time for a slower pace of life , isolating myself on the riverbank I think......

Cadwell isn't until August so I would think the worst of it should be over by then?

If missing a weekend at Cadwell is the worst effect Covid has in you then count yourself lucky!!

The problem is, nobody has a bloody clue at the moment, fingers crossed though.

What baffles me is some events are re-scheduling for May, all thats happening is more time and money going into organising something that is most likely not going to happen. The bike-shed are being particulary 'optimistic' and refuse to even talk about postponing the show on the 22nd May and are still running facebook ads for ticket sales....

Lets be realistic, this thing isnt blowing over for a few months at very least, the govt dont shower small businesses with £10-£25k grants for no reason.

It's worth noting that the brands hatch website has a statement which basically says "no motor-racing happening" until may earliest.

How is it no one can have a little moan about being inconvenienced without the 'consider yourself lucky brigade' piling in?
I won't be at Brands now and I'm a bit pissed off. I will also be pissed off if I catch the virus. Until then I'm going to prioritise what I'm pissed off about.

That’s because the ACU which regulates all bike racing and MotorsportUK (the equivalent body for car racing) have both suspended all race licences until the 30th April.

Think yourself lucky.
Croft was my local circuit for 40 years.
On or off Track at Croft in April you'll be freezing your bks Off.
No fun in the cold, its a Windswept Barron place !

It still is my local track. I'm only 40 minutes down the road from there and I remember many a cold, wet and windy BSB rounds there.

Still love it though.

The big question is, If this goes on until May/June will they run the series at all?

Sadly, probably not.

Not wanting to be doom and gloom but if there isn’t racing this year it may never be the same again.

I’m thinking reduced budgets and grids for some time. Little development in new bikes and then electric (shudder) coming in off the back of it all.

6 round series beginning in August I believe.

Not sure about spectators being allowed in to the circuits though?

Any bike racing this year is a bonus. Bring it on.
