How Important Is The Bike's Noise To You / Can You Hear It ?
Discussion
I love the noise of what I consider nice engines (typically V4)
I'm frustrated by my 690 thud and that with earplugs (I get tinnitus without) I can barely hear it despite an end can and any louder would be too anti social.
I'm considering getting a VF500 or a VFR750 just for the noise (with an end can) but does the rider really get to hear it or just the bystanders ?

On a VFR, the rider hears the distinctive geared cams, less so the exhaust.
Surely only on a very old VFR around 1997/8 and earlier. I had a 1997 FT and I think it was the last but one with gear driven cams.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
