Depends when it's lifted but I'm still hopeful (naively optimistic???) that the Old Gits trip to Spain will happen on the 12th June.

We had our annual Wales ride planned for next weekend. Hopefully that will get rescheduled as it was partly in aid of a friend's 70th this year too.

I don't believe they're cancelled, its if you can find one open. I need to get an MoT first because it expired during the winter and by the time I got my s**t together when the weather was good, they couldn't fit me in... frown

Too cold again now anyway (yes, fairweather only smile )

Either Glenshee to Ballater and Aberdeen, or down towards Dumfries and Ayrshire to ride the bike through the legal (and often illegal) forest trails.

Might go for a wee bimble to the borders to St. Mary's Loch first though. The roads will be in a ste state in any instance so glad for the adventure bike.

God I love living in Scotland, it almost makes up for having to live with all the Scottish people.

I'll probably end up bimbling about locally to get my eye in again having not really ridden all winter.

After that it'll probably be Nant-y-Garth, Horseshoe, A5 and then B5105 in North Wales. smile

I'm about 20 mils from St Mary's Loch so its a regular ride by for me.

You're spot on re the roads. No comment on the natives ;-)

Not wanting to derail the thread and not giving abuse but as someone medically involved in dealing with patients your decision is not the correct one.

I’m anticipating the roads to be extremely busy for weeks so I’m planning an early Sunday morning departure into the country with a few mates, enormous breakfast somewhere then pootle back before lunch.

You’ve definitely got issues, shame it won’t affect you personally but other people.... Lets hope you get pulled and end up in court for it...

I'll be doing this trip to visit my grandma on the coast then a mate further north: https://goo.gl/maps/mGFFTQ3LY5mhDY3P8

Had been going to do it over chrissy but the fires stopped that, so had been planning to do it over easter but obviously that's not gonna happen. The VFR will need a proper work out after its hibernation.

Let's not.

Perhaps, Craig, you'd be more comfortable at Mumsnet.
