I just saw this on Facebook.
For those who are going to be using their bike for volunteering
If your insurer has something similar then please add to the topic for more awareness.

Bennetts said:
If you're volunteering time to support your local community during these challenging times and are insured with Bennetts, don't worry - we've got you covered. Your insurance cover will still be valid when out on your bike volunteering. You don't need to call us to let us know, just #StaySafe

It would also be great to hear some of your stories about what you are doing, how it's helping and what you get out of it.

And one final thing : Thankyou.

Hi,

Just waiting to hear back from my broker / insurance company (Carole Nash) as actual insurer is Aegas but can't contact them direct.

Will post once I find out the answer. Hopefully volunteer riding will be covered too.

Thanks,

Hi,

Transpires they have updated their website:

https://www.carolenash.com/contact-us/

"Supporting those who use their motorbike to help their communities

If you need to use your motorbike for voluntary purposes (including NHS volunteering), supporting others who are impacted by COVID-19, your cover will not be affected and you do not need to tell us. Please note this does not include paid delivery work."

Hopefully that translates to their underwriters and not just if Carole Nash underwrite any policies themselves?

Thanks,
