A socially responsible opportunity to get my hands on a new bike was hard to ignore, especially as it's a machine I've always lusted after!

I'm working so it's already in use as a daily commuter on my 20 mile round trip.
Never even ridden one until it arrived on the drive so a bit of an adventure but it's proving to be everything I hoped for. A great sound, tons of torque and on the face of it, really nicely put together. This is the V12 version(!) Sport dating from 2007 with a mere 11,000 miles under its belt. Although no lightweight, it's easy to shuffle about and has a pretty good riding position so I'm hoping my normally regular trips to France when they resume will not result in too much backache!

Well done!
I do like an old Guzzi.
I bought a 750 Strada to take to the IOM a couple of years ago, as my BMW was in a million bits.
It was a pleasant little thing, and really comfortable two up.
Not much power, but plenty of torque, so you could avoid having to fight with that gearbox.
Mine had a huge appetite for cables.
Managed to ride from Jurby to Ramsay with no clutch, at which point she failed to proceed. Fortunately I had a spare under the saddle and 20 minutes later we were back on the road.
Kinda wish I hadn't sold it, but you can't keep them all.

I’ve had a few guzzi’s and every now and again have a look to see whats about , ive had a 1969 v7 , le mans mk1, le mans mk4, several v50’s , 650 lario as did the mrs and a 750 targa . The targa was the worst of the bunch and the mk4 the best , took that to budapest and on to venice back in the late 80’s .
