As above, I've never used it - it isn't required for MOT so is there any reason to keep it ?

The switch to control my dash has broken and I'm thinking of re purposing the flasher to keep it handy

If it's for the Guzzi double check the bike doesn't run a CanBus system. From memory, some Guzzi's use the same ECU as aprilia RSV4's which are a Can based electrical system.

if it does, you can't re-purpose the switch

Also, you may find the dash requires a different signal to the one the flash button is wired up for.. Be careful about what you send where as you may cause far more damage than you expect and end up costing way more than a new switch assembly

Ah - good point.

The PO had fitted a standard momentary switch by the dash which was really awkward to reach and was packing up so I cut it off and assumed the entire switchgear was old school (like my KTM 450) but I'll check

Thanks
