Has anyone else seen this? Looks very hard going and a real achievement to complete.

I'd not heard of that but I will give it a shot.

I watched this last year. It was an engaging programme as there are some real characters and it looked a real challenge. Crappy accommodation, altitude and exhaustion.

Trip of a lifetime.

Watched this earlier in the year. Really enjoyed it and would love to try something like it myself

I watched it and really enjoyed it. For the genre, it's pretty well made TV

I'm enjoying it, I had a look at the company's website to check if there was a specific reason everyone was on BMWs the first time around, then I saw the cost of it... You never really think about it properly until someone puts a figure in front of you! £26k+fuel+food+flight home... And 3 months off work of course. Best start saving!

I'm torn as to whether I'd like to do it or not. I'd love to ride my bike to Japan, across South America, etc, but the sense of adventure for me comes from doing everything "yourself", discovering things as you go, etc. But at the same time, being part of an organised group, with some support available, is one hell of a safety blanket.

Last comment, there are a few doing it with pillions, I'm not sure I'd consider it, I have enough trouble green laning around here on my own!

I thought his driving was pretty impressive at some points! Like a mountain goat that thing.

Great series, genuinely good 'reality' TV.

I thought so too! Everyone out there riding a GS and the van bloke looks like he's just in a stock transit.

I'd wager 90% of them would have been better off on a 600 single.

Good viewing though.

To be fair there were a few 800's. I'd rather do it on a Himalayan to be honest!

But realistically £36k all in, wowsers.

Great I'll take a look.

One of my neighbours works for them as support rider and has done the london to beijing a few times so it will be interesting to see if he features in it.

He was due to do the Americas North to south (Alaska to Argentina I think) with them in April but the whole thing got cancelled due to covid.

He has something of a dream job with them, but not sure when they'll be back up and running though.

Must be devastating for businesses like this.

It was Kevin Sanders who led them on this series.

Ok cheers, different crew to globebusters.

Have seen Kevin Sanders on a few things and he doesn't mollycoddle his clients at all so I bet there a few tears

His glass is certainly half empty though, he's on a downer about everything!
