Does anyone know of any UK based suppliers that offer tall fit jackets etc for tall riders ?

Im the sort of bloke that has a medium chest but has to by shirts with extra lengh in the arms.

Off the peg jackets with the right chest size always come up about 2 inches too short in the arms irked So in the past Ive had to go up a chest size so its really too big for me which isnt a good solution.

Ive watched a Youtube video from Revzilla in the USA and thier are offering tall fit clothing there, but Ive not seen it availible here in the UK.

Cheers

I’m 6’2” & 44” chest. Found RevIt textiles to fit me well, but I’m not massively impressed with the quality so would be unlikely to buy them again.

I also wear Dainese two-piece leathers, but they are a little short in the arms.

Next purchase will probably be a M2M/bespoke leather onesie.

A friend of mine is around 6'5" and has had success with Furygan stuff, apparently they're longer in the arm than other brands. My personal experience would suggest the only real way is to try stuff on, which is a bit difficult at the moment unless you want to spend weeks ordering stuff and returning it when it doesn't fit.

thumbup I was going to recommend made-to-measure, and Hideout in particular. If it's good enough for Tom Cruise ... OK, maybe he's a bit shorter than you biggrin

If you can get to Hideout – and it's worth the trip – then you have a choice: they can either do fully bespoke, or take off-the-shelf clothing and tailor it to fit. Bespoke will be their Hideout leathers or Hi-Pro textiles (not cheap but worth it). But adjusted-to-fit can be done on any of the brands they stock (incl. Furygan) and cheaper than completely bespoke.

I've got a Halvarssons Prime jacket, which fits me surprisingly well as someone with a tall and skinny body shape (I'm 6 foot 4 and typically Small in chest size, so most off the peg stuff is hopeless).

I’m in Herts so that is the plan.

Left it too late for this season, but over winter I’ll probably get them to make my some leathers.

Almost did it a few years ago, but glad I saved my cash as my requirements have changed a bit and now I want a one piece, not two.

IXS (a Swiss Brand) makes taller fit clothing. You can buy it via FC Moto for example. Sizing is indicated as double plus 2.

ie. 56 tall = 114. 54 tall = 110.

https://www.fc-moto.de/en_GB

I'm 6'7" and most of my equally (Dutchies) tall friends wear this brand.

If you're really struggling, Stadler do longer fit jackets - and they're pretty long in the first place. And a step above Rukka in the quality/protection stakes too.

This lot can help you: https://www.motolegends.com

Stadler looks excellent. But if you're up to Stadler/Rukka money, why wouldn't you get made-to-measure Hideout Hi-Pro clothing that's bespoke to your needs (your choice of vents, colour, jacket length, and an optional In&Motion airbag)?

Try IXON, it's a French brand, really good quality, I would describe it as Tall & Slim fit, sportsbike shop will have plenty coming soon.

6'3" top end of normal BMI and monkey arms here too. IXS jacket cuffs stay inside glove cuffs fine.
Back of the jacket ( I have the Dutton Textile) sometimes lets a bit of air in though, especially with crosswinds.
Is it the arms or the back length thats the issue?

I'm 6 ft 4 with a 42 in chest. I have a set of furygan textiles, furygan 2 piece and a held one piece. Held do alot of kit in tall and slim sizes but it isn't generally stocked in the uk but is available on European websites (FC moto etc).

HELD offer tall fit clothing but it’s unlikely that many dealers will stock it. Best bet is to get hold of a catalogue or their own website. Any Held dealer will be able to get what you want in for you to try but it’s be a good idea for you to know roughly what sizes you want.

+1 for held.

I have a set of their tall skinny leathers (one piece) and love them (size 98)

Dainese also do tall slim sizing (98/108 etc..) in some of their main stream garments but generally only in black.

I’m 6’6 slim (ish) and freakishly long arms. I used to work for BMW and used to wear their long versions where possible. Always fitted an absolute treat. Just bought some Bull-it jeans (one of the only places that would actually do 36’ inside leg).

But manufacturers I’ve found who do long items are Dainese, Held, Rukka and Klim.

Depending on what sort of jacket you’re after there will be something out there.

If you can bring yourself to wear a BMW jacket (they’re relatively discreetly branded now) I would strongly recommend them. All BMW Motorrad dealers can do a try before you buy thing where they can order them and send them back to BMW FOC within 10 days of them arriving. I ordered 12 suits in various sizes for a husband and wife using this. It’s a great service and absolutely zero obligation required from the customer.
