Not sure about the scam theory - wouldn't be a particularly fruitful scam if they never got in touch to take your money?

I'd add I phoned - always the best policy IMO

Phone menu, option 1, just directs callers to their website. If you hang on it starts to the repeat the phone menu.

I wouldn't even bother calling tbh - they won't want to tell you that much on the phone. If you think it's what you're after go and have a look at it, they're usually as-described.

Haven't bought from them but sold them 4 or 5 bikes between me and the old man.

Found their offers very reasonable and hassle free instant payment and take the bike with them.

Sorry I wasn’t online, I’d had them on the live chat and text chat today, they just said a salesman will call.
Still haven’t heard.

Yes I bought my bike from there, bit "to the point". They price to sell and have a slight attitude of "if you won't buy it it's priced so someone else will". No problem with how they described the bike though

When I called the guy went through all the service history, what had been done & when and what work they were doing to it.

I lost interest after he was reading about an overheating issue on a recent bill

They are about a mile from my house, definitely not a scam. When I visited before lockdown the staff were run off their feet, not surprised if no one could answer the phone.
