After some fun and games getting a loan from a certain Spanish bank, I've put a lump down on my first ever brand spanking new motorcycle. Whenever Piaggio decide to deliver it to the dealer, I shall be collecting a Moto Guzzi V7 III Special in black.

Very nice. I'd like a V7. Especially the special!

Nice!

I have family in Como so have visited the factory a few times. My uncle has a hotel/restaurant close by and hosts Guzzi Owner club meetings from around the world. Very friendly bunch!

Taking a lead from the barge thread, I'll take some obligatory petrol station shots as there's one a few doors down from the dealers.

Update: Had an email this afternoon to say it's in the UK and should be with the dealer "in a matter of days"...I'm working Friday to Tuesday from tomorrow so I'll be on the Tiger Sport for another 100 miles or so at least. Two consecutive weekends off after that, though, so it'll be my fault when it pisses down!!

In other news, I've bought my first accessory: a clear tank pad which turns out to have been made in italy! Also got some new boots - full on urban stylee to go with the hipster bike.

TCX hero?

Bloody great boots. Become my go-to over the last couple of years.

The very same. One of the lads in my club bought some Gore Tex ones a while back (black, though so we won't look like boot twins!) and I liked the look of them. My new bike's got a brown seat, so new boots had to be brown, I didn't stump up for the Gore Tex as these will be used for dry days and times I may get caught out. I have Alt Bergs for really dodgy conditions. First ride test this morning for my commute and I really like them. Really comfortable straight from the box.

Are you still Cannock based? Did you have a test ride and where from?

Seen a few online I like the price of but they're a bit far away to risk not liking it.
