S1000r / S1000RR with full Arrow System. dB levels?
Discussion
I've got my bike booked in with Crowe Performance in a couple of weeks for a remap and full Arrow system.
Initially I was just going to have it remapped as I have an Akra GP can fitted already, albeit with the cat still in place. However, after speaking to Phil, to get the best out of the bike and mapping i am going to go for the full Arrow system as well so the Akra will be coming off.
There are 2 end can options available the 'Competition' system which has what looks to be a longer triangular shaped can and the 'Competition Evo' system which looks like a shorter, conical GP style can. Both come with removable dB killers.
Without seeing them in the flesh I am swayed more to the Competition system and am hoping that what I think is a longer can will also reduce a bit of the volume too.
So .....
Is there anyone out there in BB land that has either a S1000R or RR with those systems fitted? Do you know what the dB levels are with the baffles in and out?
What I dont want to do is fit a system that prevents me from getting on track due to being too loud.
Cheers.
